Return & Refund Policy

At Appliance Parts Direct, our priority is to provide high-quality, compatible appliance parts at competitive prices, paired with reliable customer service and clear policies. We understand that sometimes a part may need to be returned, and we aim to make that process straightforward while ensuring fairness and protecting our operations.

Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return within 15 calendar days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return, the item must:

  • Be unused, undamaged, and uninstalled

  • Be in its original packaging with all labels, stickers, manuals, and accessories intact

  • Be in a resalable condition

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be denied or subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%.

Non-Returnable Items

Some parts are non-returnable under any circumstances, including:

  • Electrical parts and electronic components

  • Special-order or custom-order parts

  • Any item that shows signs of use, installation, or tampering

  • Items purchased as final sale or clearance

How to Request a Return

To initiate a return:

  1. Email us at returns@appliancepartsdirect.ca with the subject line: Return Request – Order #[Your Order Number]

  2. Include in your email:

    • Your full name

    • Your order number

    • The reason for the return

    • Photos of the item (unopened, unused)

  3. Our support team will review your request and reply within 2–3 business days with further instructions, including the return shipping address if approved.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a product defect or an error on our part.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original method of payment once the returned item has been received, inspected, and approved. The process typically takes:

  • 2–3 business days for inspection

  • Up to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer

Shipping costs are non-refundable, and restocking fees may apply depending on item condition and type.
